Partiamo da Sauris di Sotto ed imbocchiamo la salita che ci porta un po' in quota per poi proserguire in costa sulla destra. Facciamo una nuova salita fin a passare il Rifugio Eimblat (q. 1430 m.) che lasciamo sulla sisnistra. Ancora un tratto in falsopiano ci porta al bivio dal quale procediamo a sinistra per raggiungere con una nuova salita Casera Gerona (q.1622 m.). Proseguiamo quindi, su pendenze meno impegnative, fino a Malga Pieltinis e poi alla Forcella Pieltinis. Da qui raggiungiamo velocemente Casera Vinadia Grande da dove comincia una ripida salita cementata per raggiungere la forcella Vinadia. Ripida anche la discesa che ci porta a Casera Malins e la nuova salita fino alla forcella per poi ridiscendere a Malga Festons.
Da qui una facile salita ci porta ad un punto molto panoramico da quale comincia la lunga e a tratti ripida discesa, prima sterrata e poi asfalta, che ci porta a Sauris di Sopra. Continua la discesa per raggiungere il punto di partenza a Sauris di Sotto.
Sauris Alpine pasture tour-
We set off from Sauris di Sotto and embark on the climb that takes us a little higher up and then continue along the coast to the right. We make another ascent until we pass the Eimblat Refuge (1430 m.), which we leave on the left. Another stretch of false-flat terrain brings us to a fork in the road, from which we continue to the left to reach Casera Gerona (1622 m.) with a new ascent. We then continue, on less demanding slopes, to Malga Pieltinis and then to Forcella Pieltinis. From here we quickly reach Casera Vinadia Grande, from where a steep, cemented ascent begins to reach Forcella Vinadia. Also steep is the descent that takes us to Casera Malins and the new ascent to the forcella and then back down to Malga Festons.
From here an easy climb takes us to a very scenic point from which begins the long and at times steep descent, first off-road and then asphalted, which takes us to Sauris di Sopra. Continue the descent to reach the starting point in Sauris di Sotto.
