Ospitale Casera Valbona
Ospitale di Cadore Casera Valbona Casera Pra del bosco.
Partendo dalla Strada statale si sale al paese di Ospitale e poi si percorre verso destra una strada sterrata in leggera pendenza fino ad un bivio da cui la strada prosegue fino a Rivalgo, La strada ricalca la vecchia Via Romana Claudia Augusta Altinate.
Noi svoltiamo a sinistra fino alla località Festin e da qui la strada si fa più impegnativa affiancando la profonda gola dove scorre il torrente Valbona. Incontriamo subito il bivio che sulla destra porta a Casera Pra del bosco.
Proseguiamo dritti fino al bivio che sulla sinistra porta verso Casera Tartana de sòra, che abbiamo percorso per un breve tratto, ritornando poi al bivio.
Noi andiamo dritti a percorrere l’ultimo tratto cementato che in breve ci porterà alla Casera Valbona (a quota 1241 m.). Proseguiamo sulla strada finchè, superato un impluvio dove scorre il Rui Bianco, inizia il sentiero (cai 488) che ci porterebbe a Casera Giròlda e poi a Casera Pra del Bosco, ma noi preferiamo tornare indietro.
Ripercorriamo la strada che ci porta alla località Festin. La discesa mette a dura prova i freni della bici, per cui si raccomanda di controllarne l’efficienza.
Da qui prendiamo la strada verso Casera Pra del bosco (a quota 1307 m.) in gran parte asfaltata ma con tratti abbastanza ripidi.
Per la stessa strada ritorniamo fino ad Ospitale.

Starting from the main road, we climb up to the village of Ospitale and then follow a gently sloping dirt road to the right until we reach a junction from which the road continues to Rivalgo, the road follows the old Via Romana Claudia Augusta Altinate.
We turn left as far as the hamlet of Festin and from here the road becomes more challenging, running alongside the deep gorge where the Valbona stream flows. We immediately meet the fork in the road, which on the right leads to Casera Pra del bosco.
We continue straight on until we come to the fork in the road, which on the left leads to Casera Tartana de sòra, which we follow for a short distance, then return to the junction.
We go straight on along the last cemented section that will soon take us to Casera Valbona (at an altitude of 1241 m.). We continue along the road until, having passed an impluvium where the Rui Bianco flows, the path begins (cai 488) which would take us to Casera Giròlda and then to Casera Pra del Bosco, but we prefer to turn back.
We retrace our steps to the Festin locality. The descent puts the bike's brakes to the test, so we recommend checking their efficiency.
From here we take the road to Casera Pra del bosco (at an altitude of 1307 m.), which is mostly asphalted but with quite steep sections.
Along the same road we return to Ospitale.
