Attenzione: il percorso è impedito per una frana circa a metà strada tra il bivio per Zoppè e il Passo di Rutorto.
VODO DI CADORE RIFUGIO TALAMINI RIFUGIO VENEZIA
Partenda da Vodo di Cadore si scende fino al ponte per attraversare il Boite.
Da qui comincia una continua salita asfaltata, che passa anche in prossimità della diga di Vodo, fino ad incrociare la strada che sale alla Malga Ciauta.
Noi prendiamo a sinistra la ripida salita asfaltata che sale verso il Rifugio Talamini e solo a metà del percorso troviamo un tratto piano non asfaltato che ci farà prendere fiato. Riprende la ripida salita con qualche tornante fino a raggiungere il Rifugio Talamini.
Da qui proseguiamo verso Zoppè di Cadore su strada interamente asfaltata con ancora una brevissima salita, poi una breve discesa e un lungo falsopiano fino ad incontrare la strada che, sul lato destro, ci porta verso il Rifugio Venezia. Qui la strada sale ancora alternando anche tratti piani.
L’ultimo tratto, prima della forcella, la strada ricomincia a salire ma potrà essere percorsa tranquillamente grazie agli ultimi interventi migliorativi che hanno eliminato tutte le criticità preesistenti.
In forcella rimaniamo estasiati per la vicinanza alle verticali pareti del Monte Pelmo e per l'ampio pascolo e vediamo poco lontano il Rifugio Venezia che possiamo raggiungere in pochi minuti.
Per il ritorno ripercorriamo l'intero percorso fatto all’andata.

Starting from Vodo di Cadore, we descend as far as the bridge to cross the Boite.
From here begins a continuous asphalted climb, which also passes near the Vodo dam, until it crosses the road that goes up to the Malga Ciauta.
We take the steep asphalted ascent to the left, which climbs towards the Talamini Refuge, and only halfway along the route do we find a flat, non-asphalted section that will allow us to catch our breath. We resume the steep climb with a few hairpin bends until we reach Rifugio Talamini.
From here we continue towards Zoppè di Cadore on an entirely tarmac road with yet another very short climb, then a short descent and a long falsopiano until we meet the road that, on the right-hand side, takes us towards Rifugio Venezia. Here the road climbs further, alternating with flat stretches.
In the last stretch, before the forcella, the road begins to climb again but can be travelled safely thanks to the latest improvements that have eliminated all the pre-existing critical points.
At the forcella we are enraptured by the proximity of the vertical walls of Monte Pelmo and the wide pastureland, and we can see the Rifugio Venezia not far away. Which we can reach in a few minutes.

PERCORSO ALTERNATIVO PER LA DISCESA:

Il ritorno fino a Vodo può essere fatto ritornando alla forcella e quindi alla volta di Malga Ciauta e da qui fino a Villanova, però il tratto fino a Malga Ciauta è impegnativo e in alcune parti fangoso soprattutto dopo piogge intense e richiede in diversi tratti di condurre la bici a mano. The return to Vodo can be made by returning to the forcella and then to Malga Ciauta and from there to Villanova, but the stretch to Malga Ciauta is demanding and in some parts muddy, especially after heavy rain, and in several sections requires you to ride your bike by hand.
